Terms of sale

Dogood is free to write in. These terms cover what you can buy: Dogood Plus, for one person or several, and Daily Planner Plus for Dogood Plus members.

What you buy

Dogood Plus is a licence for your personal use of the Plus features of Dogood, paid once. A pack for 2 or 5, or a team pack, gives that licence to each person who opens its link, up to the number of people bought, each in their own journal. Dogood Plus members can also buy Daily Planner Plus, a licence for the Plus features of Daily Planner, at a lower price. None of these is a subscription: nothing renews and nothing needs cancelling.

“For life” means for as long as you use Dogood. The licence is checked on your device, with no account, so the features keep working offline and would keep working even if Dogood stopped being sold.

Dogood Plus is for your own journal, or for the people you give it to. It is not for resale: buying licences, gifts or packs to sell them on, or offering them on a marketplace, is not allowed.

Price and payment

Prices are shown in euros or US dollars and include VAT or sales tax, except those of team packs, shown before tax as for any business purchase. Orders are processed by Creem, which acts as merchant of record: Creem takes the payment, charges the tax that applies where you live and sends your receipt. Card details go to Creem and never to Dogood.

Delivery

Plus is delivered as soon as the payment goes through: you come back to Dogood with Plus on, and we email you a link that turns it on again. Plus belongs to the journal it is turned on in and comes with it to any device, through a backup of that journal. It can move to another journal once every 30 days; the journal it leaves goes back to the free plan, and keeps every entry.

A gift, a pack or a team pack is delivered as a link and a code, on the confirmation page and by email. Opening it turns Plus on in each recipient’s journal, in the same way. Daily Planner Plus is delivered as a link that turns it on in Daily Planner.

Refunds

If Dogood Plus is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your order and you will get it, no questions asked. For a gift, this applies as long as the gift has not been opened. Refunds are paid by Creem to the card you paid with.

By ordering, you ask for Plus to be delivered straight away, which is what ends the legal right of withdrawal for digital content; the refund above replaces it.

The friends’ offer

When Dogood runs it, a Dogood Plus member can share their own link with friends. A friend who follows it and buys Dogood Plus within 30 days, for themselves or as a gift, pays 15% less. This price does not add up with another offer or code, and a purchase made through a member’s link is never credited to an affiliate.

Each time a few friends (the number is shown in the app, next to the link) have bought Dogood Plus this way, the member gets a Dogood Plus to give. A friend counts 14 days after their purchase, once the refund period is over; a refunded or disputed purchase does not count, nor do the member’s own purchases. The member is told how many friends bought, never who.

The Dogood Plus earned this way is a gift: it can be given to anyone, but not sold or exchanged for money. The member may share the link as they like, with the people around them or in a post on their own accounts, with no limit on the number of friends; but not by spam, on coupon or cashback sites, or in paid ads. Dogood may stop a link shared that way: it then gives no discount, and the gifts already earned stay. The offer is valid until further notice: Dogood may change or end it at any time, without affecting purchases already made or gifts already earned.

Companies: quotes, transfers and purchase orders

A company can also buy Dogood Plus for a team on a quote, paid by bank transfer or against a purchase order. The quote states the price, the number of people and how long it is valid. Dogood then sends an invoice in the company’s name, payable within 30 days, and the team link as soon as the payment arrives.

For a company established in the European Union outside France and giving its VAT number, the invoice is without VAT: the company accounts for it (reverse charge, article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC). Outside the European Union, no French VAT applies. A late payment bears interest at three times the French legal interest rate, and a fixed fee of €40 for recovery costs (articles L441-10 and D441-5 of the French Commercial Code).

Printed books

Dogood Plus makes the files a printer needs. Books are ordered from and paid to the print shop you choose, under its own terms.

Your journal

What you write stays on your device: see how your data is handled. Keep backups: Dogood cannot recover a journal erased from a browser or a forgotten passphrase.
